Actually , i did this for the marketplace . They banned my account , and pretty much fucked all my work . But still , htey use my images in their own purpose . Now 15 release look the same !. I am now building my own website .

I decided to give up on discogs . I'm actually learning , i'm looking for the best way to display my collectibles , put that online , and i might sell my collection when i'm done . Not 100% decided yet , as i don't want to end up with a bunch of things i can't sell . My brain is working hard now,i want to find the best idea , to give green day collectors the best reference for catalguing , trading and buying/selling. I'll also need help from other collectors who will accept to share with me . As soon as the structure is set , i'll give you guys more info .

I really liked that for the marketplace. It sucks that discogs disagreed. Especially for Minority, Slappy, and 1000 Hours, it was just what they needed.

I opened a thread about it , wanted to discuss about this whole thing. Then , i met Adolf Hitler 2.0 . He scrapped all my submission and changed every images , but still use all my material like a fuckin' bitch ! Just like an ex girlfriend telling you , i don't want you anymore , but i'll keep the house , the kids and the car . The way they work is ''follow the guidelines , or get the fuck outta here . It sounded like my grandpa about immigrants ; ''IF YER NOT HAPPY , JUST LEAVE ! '' . I got a few months of work in front of me , and a bunch of hours to put on it , but believe me , i'm coming up with the number 1 reference about green day's catalog . I really have a good idea , and it will be useful for all of us , as i said before , i'll need help though . I think i got about 40% - 50 % of the catalog in hands , and my quality standards are really high . Soon , i'll need to gather up all Green Day's die hard collectors , to make this website the place to go , way in front of discogs .It just sucks that the premier collector , that guy from france , can't work in a team , still , i know a few people in here can contribute a big chunk . I suggest you go and re-enable the superposed images , just to piss them off , they really take this so seriously , that it gets funny to see them getting angry . People running this place , have no life , no sex , no pets , no jobs . They just work like monkeys (for free) , to make sure you follow the ''guidelines'' . That's very funny , and sad at the same time . If you do , the worst that can happen is that they suspend your account , you won't be able to make submissions anymore , but you'll still be able to buy and sell from discogs . They really work the wrong way .
Monday morning , i'm making a few call , to get the best deal for website developping , i'm a dummy , so i'll have to invest some money , but i really believe it's worth it .
Cheers man

Chris pulled out a GREEEAAAT website , it's so detailed and well presented , he has all the credit for that , it's the best page done til' now , from my humble point of view . I'm thinkin about something that could esthetically look like this , with a bit of discogs , and a bit of ebay mixed altogether . Chris's page is based on collection presentation , a database of his own collection , i'm thinkin more about a collective , with expanded functions . I'll put the structure up and running , enter my collection , then when i'm done , i'll add everything other collectors will share , using a frame that we can all agree on .
I wouldn't twist arms like discogs is doing , i'm a perfectionnist , as most people active on this forum are . I'm sure we can find together , the best way , to lay down the whole catalog , and get credited for what we contributed . It's already taking shape on paper , i'm now looking for the best price/quality deal , to have a professional website running .

It sounds great. I'm super excited for it! Who is the guy from france? I donmt think I've heard of him. What kind of rare stuff does he have, and why won't he help?

The guy from France is Marc, he has allll the cool stuff (Slappy on White (1 of 1), Clear (1 of 2), Clear Yellow, Slappy and 1000 Hours test presses).
To be fair he's a good guy, I chat to him sometimes on Facebook, he's currently renovating his house and is also a concert pianist, so he's pretty busy!!!
